Changing the price of the PS4/PC/XB1 versions to accommodate the Switch would alienate whole lot more consumers than charging the difference for the console that’s introducing the additional production cost.

What the heck, Nintendo... don’t act like this isn’t your problem. It definitely is.
Maybe, maybe not. It’s been a while since I’ve been in the console game, but Sony could be charging $5 per game licensing fee, random blu-ray printing company could be charging $2 per disk manufacturing fee, and blu-ray disk association is taking a $0.02 per disk licensing fee.
Now let’s wait to see if the eShop version is cheaper, then.
Yes, but when the handheld and the console version are the same product, you could argue you’re getting two for one.
They are doing the same thing with Puyo Puyo Tetris as well, it appears. $30 for PS4 version, $40 for Switch version.

Conversely... I enjoy the Arcade, but if XP and the weekly 3x3 Loot Boxes were removed, I wouldn’t bother.
The lack of XP kept me from messing around with custom games before the browser, and if they remove it again, my interest would be significantly reduced. Sure, there’s some fun games out there, but I like to feel as if the hours I put into this game get me a little something more than amusement.
True, but there might be a significant drop in players if they take XP out of the equation. It would be a shame for the custom games to die off, if that happened.
I’m using the Joy Con docking click sound as my phone’s text notification alert. Sue me, Nintendo.
It’s a Wii U game. Just play it on a Wii U.
Hmmmm... no. No resentment.. no anxiousness. I like my 500 dollars. I’ll be alright. I have plenty of other amazing games on my pc that still need to be played. Most of which I picked up on a steam sale for $10-20.
It’s not 1862 so who cares?
It’s not so much the shipping time but the “guaranteed” arrival time.
I think it’s less “It takes more than 2 days to ship” and more “It’s supposed to be here March 3rd, why wasn’t it shipped earlier?” Especially since people ordering it within the last few days are getting it before people who ordered it months ago.
where the country is controlled by Mexican drug cartels
The Drug Cartels are pissed about the game bringing attention to them, so they leaned on the Bolivian government to file the complaint.
Bolivia has a dictator disguised as populist ruling the country, if anyone is wondering why something like this would happen it’s because politicians there have egos the size of Trump’s.
