Don't forget the fact that Visa (and likely other CC companies) provide additional auto rental coverage. You do need to waive the rental insurance the car company offers, but they will cover items above your normal car insurance deductible.

Another advantage is that many credit cards offer some sort of insurance package when renting a car. Most are secondary to your personal insurance, but a few (Chase Sapphire Preferred, for example) are primary, meaning you can happily tell the teller to piss off when he tries to upsell the insurance on you.

I've always been confused by this: what does a jock strap sans cup do for anyone? I grew up playing baseball and football, and to this day I don't understand why any guy would wear a jock strap unless it was to support a cup that provides some actual protection.

Technically this is not true. DOs take the COMLEX boards (I, II, III) while MDs are required to take the USMLE/NBME boards (I, II, III). The residency boards MDs and DOs take after completing their respective residencies are the same. USMLE boards are more difficult than Comlex boards.

Fellow 32-year-old (early 1982) here. Yep - we're on the cusp. Given how people made at least a little bit of a fuss about us as teens (we were the Class of 2000!), I've always been kind of disappointed that we didn't merit our own generation name.

You can extend the utility of an interchangeable head driver so much without adding much bulk to your tool kit. Suddenly find a need for a torx driver? There are heads for that. Want some small sockets? No need to go get a socket wrench. Break the tip off your philips head? Not so hard to replace.
