I love the Moto X 1st gen form factor. Perfect size and ergonomics for my preferences. Wish I could just swap in 2015 guts!

Elliot is apparently a gawker fan:

Oh damn didn’t realize the LG nexus would be 5.2” ... yea that definitely puts it at the top of my list. Guess I’ll wait another month for a new phone.

I’m still holding onto my first gen Moto X as well ... was pretty set on getting a Moto X Pure but might wait and see what the new Nexus phones offer.

I’m in my 30’s, never have, and never had a desire to. I mean, I understand thethe basic mechanics of it, but if for some reason I wanted to get into shooting, I’d certainly appreciate an article like this.

Yup! Here’s a screenshot of the web interface for my ecobee. I can setup a bunch of different “comfort settings” that will turn on and off according to a schedule I set, and for each of those I can specify which sensors that setting should use. So when I’m sleeping for example I tell it to just use the sensor in our

Sadly I did not forget about Arrested Development ... I was not a big fan of the new season (and the original run is one of my favorite tv series). The new episodes of Wet Hot reinforced that view, since they showed that a show/movie can be rebooted successfully many years later. Hopefully if they make more Arrested

Get an Ecobee3. It comes w/ a remote sensor, and you can buy as many more as you’d like (well, it has a limit of 32 sensors). And you can tell the thermostat which sensors to use for certain programmed activities (or just have it base it on which rooms are occupied). About the same price as the Nest.

4. The future
It’s probably gonna be like The Road!

I agree Amazon Prime is a great deal, but Netflix still has a lot more good original content (Orange is the New Black, The Incredible Kimmy Schmidt, BoJack Horseman, House of Cards, Daredevil (plus more upcoming Marvel series), Wet Hot American Summer, Sense8 ...), enough to make it worth it in addition to Prime. I

Woooooo!

Yup I work from home and if someone secretly recorded my daily conversations with my dog it would be quite embarrassing.

An adult eating a hot do with ketchup is a universally recognized sin. Even the ‘National Hot Dog and Sausage Council’ (because apparently that is a thing) officially recommends against it:

This. Easy to program, a color screen (which can be customized add to what buttons show up where), and a lot cheaper than the fancier logitechs. For most, I’d guess it is more than enough. Only downside is not rechargeable cradle, but ii get around that with Eneloops.

“This might be a stupid question, but were you always so... British?”

Hopefully now that the subsidy model is going away, phone will settle at reasonable pricepoints ... A phone shouldn’t cost more than a tablet or laptop!

I don’t trust people who don’t like mayonnaise. I lump them into the same category as grown adults who won’t eat vegetables.

Exactly. I’ll keep it simple. $400 Moto X, assuming I keep it for 2 yrs, would average out to $16.67 / month, which seems to be less than most of these lease/finance offers. And if I keep it less than 2 years I can sell and probably make 1/2 my money back.

It’s about time to upgrade my aging 1st Gen Moto X ... I think I’ll just buy a new Moto X next month outright and not have to deal with all this mess.
