I have a Roku and a Chromecast (hooked up to different tv's). Overall I prefer the Chromecast (including streaming quality for most apps). Note that I mostly use my Android phone to control it - if I had to use and iPhone or iPad I'd be annoyed, since they don't seem to have lockscreen controls for Chromecast.

I was initially disappointed too ... but on reflection I think the ending w/ Arya was pretty perfect, especially with that awesome choral version of the theme song. I prefer ending the season on that emotional note rather than with a crazy dark supernatural one.
The S3's body was pretty big relative to its screen size though. Some newer phones with similar sized screens have a much smaller footprint. Look at the Moto x (4.7" screen) compared to the S3 for example:
