I know it doesn't make the best coffee, but I use a Cuisinart auto-drip machine. We used to use a french press, but it broke & we had gotten the machine as a wedding gift, so we succumbed to it's large capacity and auto timer - my wife gets up early often for work so it's convenient to set it the night before to make

"The name of the game is Candyland."

Uh, of course I would take a brand new free TV in a heartbeat.

That's why the author recommends making your margaritas w/ a $20 bottle of tequila, not a $40 (overpriced) bottle of Patron. And a proper margarita doesn't drown out the tequila, it highlights the tequila ... hence the 2:1:1 ratio (sometimes I even go 3:1:1).

Herradura is damn good, but it's more like $30-35 a bottle, which puts it into the sipping tier for me, as others have said.

I've been meaning to try Espolon. That is indeed a bitchin' bottle (with a cork, no less!)

A couple of my favorite affordable tequila's (<$20) for margaritas:

Dawkins sums it up w/ with the "spectrum of theist probability." I'd probably classify myself as a "6":

Better to get the best available players for the positions you need, then sort it out w/ trades & the waiver wire, rather than draft some guy just because you'll need him to fill in for your 2nd RB week 8. It's rare that you're gonna have the exact same roster you drafted after a few weeks, and byes don't start until

In Colorado, it's legal to shoot tourists in rental cars driving recklessly on I-70 in the mountains during ski season.

Passing a stopped school bus in VA warrants the same penalty as going 81 mph on a highway w/ a speed limit of 70 mph in VA (both Reckless Driving, and they stay on your record for the same amount of time). Sorry, that's just ridiculous.

I have Comcast Blast internet, which by itself is priced @ $60/mo before taxes (I think ... Comcast's website is confusing and has conflicting information, maybe it's only $50 for 6 months).

I had an iPad and switched to a Nexus tablet ... they both worked fine for what they needed to do, we definitely haven't lost any noticeable functionality by switching to an Android tablet. The main reason was the price, it's so much cheaper than an equivalent iPad. At this point except for maybe some specialized

I dunno, the tv in our living room is mounted on the wall, it is slightly more of a PITA to move it than throwing away a box and wrapping paper...

Who currently makes Apple's monitor panels? LG? I'm just not seeing myself paying a premium for an Apple branded smart tv when I could more than likely buy an equivalent LG or other brand TV and add the streaming device(s) of my choice (including puck-version of the Apple TV), for a lot less. But I guess we'll wait

On most phones it's really easy to return to stock and unroot if it needs to be taken in for service.

I don't leave my dog un-attended, but if she's with us and we want to sit on a patio to have coffee or lunch etc., this type of leash is very useful for clipping her to a leg of the table or whatnot that we're sitting at.

Seriously! I scour the internet for recaps/podcasts after a new Breaking Bad episode, happy that io9 is getting in the game.

Based on the prop money pile, it's ~$80 million:

Gotcha; yea less than $500 definitely seems like not enough considering you would have paid $800 (I think?) before Applecare. For that much I'd consider it more on a computer lifecycle (4-5 yrs for me) than a phone lifecycle (1.5-2 yrs for me).
