80's Bronn is cool and all, but he doesn't hold a candle to 90's Bronn.

Yikes. I've had it integrated for about 2 years now without much problems ... knock on wood.

They can send messages to your GV #; my GV# and cell # are the same, so in the case of texts I think they route through GV, but since I've turned off GV text notifications, I only see SMS/MMS using whatever app I designate as my default text app.

I use GoSMS to handle my texts., works fine with MMS and group messages from iPhones and other Android phones. Just turned off notifications for SMS within GV so I don't get double-notified every time I get a normal SMS.

I have Sprint, so Google Voice is fully integrated into my account, and my mobile number and GV # are one in the same. Plus it works pretty seamlessly on my Android phone, so I'm not seeing much reason to switch to a bunch of different apps.

Semi-related : anyone have good iGoogle home page replacement recommendations? They're also phasing that out in a few months (Nov 1st if I recall correctly).

If you have an Android phone, maybe give it a whirl? The integration into the music player on the phone is a big plus, IMO. But then again, I haven't used the subscription version of Spotify ... so can't speak to a comparison of the mobile UI's.

He can still cancel at anytime ... but this is the last chance to get it @ a discount. At the worst he can decide it's not worth it 3 weeks later and will have burned just $8.

I subscribed the week it came out. Figure I'd give it a test go for a few months and that way I'd be locked in at the lower price if I decide to keep it, and if not, I'm only out 24 bucks or so. So far I'm still undecided; overall I'm happy w/ the service, especially being able to create playlists w/ pretty much any

Sense has a great camera app, definitely better than stock. I really like the camera on my EVO 4G LTE. Some of the UI additions are pretty good ... although most of them you can achieve by installing 3rd party apps/launchers/widgets etc. But then you're kindof un-stocking it anyway.

Sometimes however, the torque is too much.

I guess GRRM was inspired by Lego for the Stark and Lannister sigils!

Ah, missed the part about it being a 2 ch soundbar. I would probably actually prefer it. "Simulated surround" is typically not great, and I'd rather just have a good 2.1 system if I don't have the space/money for a true surround system right now. Personally I'm still rocking my Klipsch 2.1 computer speakers through

If Jake Ballard can stay healthy the Pats are hoping he can step up in their roster.

Well the Roku holds a giant candle in comparison in one area -> cost. And guessing w/ your rig, the consoles also hold a reasonable sized candle in that aspect as well.

I dunno, I'm of the opinion that your mind isn't really a garden, and it doesn't get weedy if you take more than one day off. If anything, 3 days off would be better for the soul. Two days to do cool stuff that's not work, and one day to actually rest.
