"Unlike other apps and phones with panorama modes, this one is fully automated and offers a preview of the panorama that materializes as you're taking it."

After what my wife went through being cheap and buying an iPhone 3G when it was steeply discounted, and soon after it turned into a laggy POS, I would never buy a 2-cycle old iPhone. We already know it's gimped as far as features (SIRI, turn-by-turn nav, etc.), $100 for a 4s or $200 for a 5 seems like a no-brainer.

I've always hoped there was a behind the scenes videos of the poor interns having to get those mittens on that kitten.

So their paw pads don't turn out like this when you hike on rocks/snow/ice with them.

Ah I somehow forgot about that one ... no Sprint though which I'm on, and I recall it getting only so-so reviews.

I wish HTC would make a flagship Android phone this size. I currently have a Nexus S and think a 4" screen is ideal for me. Glad to see Apple make a 4" iPhone, perhaps will cause the competition to go back to making at least some top of the line phones that size again.

U-locks of up to a certain size can fit in your back pocket, which is how they are normally carried in SF. You can also slip them into your belt. I personally lock mine onto my right backpack strap when I'm not using it. I've seen cyclists lose their back pocket u-locks a half dozen times.

Maybe you need to activate the access through Google Play somehow (since that's what they're trying to promote), which you can do on Android or a computer but not other mobile OS's?

Nope. My Kindle (keyboard) has only been used for reading books in the 1.5 years I've had it. Might be a uni-tasker, but worth every penny.

Eventually, Facebook will be able to predict when you'll become pregnant before it happens. I'd imagine they'll have a bunch of pre-cogs like in Minority Report, but instead of predicting murders, they'll forecast ad-revenue rich life events, such as pregnancies and engagements.

Indeed he did, which also had one of the most beautiful shots from the series (Skyler in the pool at night shrouded in blue).

Fun fact: Rian Johnson directed the episode "Fly" from Breaking Bad. I'm in.

I've actually done the opposite; taken money (in the form of a discount) to buy a device that would show ads, vs no ads on a more expensive version. The device being the "Kindle with Special Offers". Well worth the savings to have ads on the screen saver - plus I saved ~$100 on a laptop from one of their Kindle only

Darcy Downing said her daughter may have been infected by insects near a dead squirrel she wanted to bury at their campground on U.S. Forest Service land, even though Darcy had warned her daughter to leave it alone. She remembered catching her daughter near the squirrel with her sweat shirt on the ground. Her daughter

My guess is front lit more closely mimics reading a real book in natural light ... which is maybe better on your eyes? Or not...

That is straight hotness. Now I need to rationalize to myself getting rid of my perfectly functional Kindle w/ keyboard.

In music culture (not pop music culture), Bjork is definitely still a relevant artist. Plus she was on Colbert when her iPad app album came out ... are you telling me the Colbert Bump® is not relevant? Hearsay!

A great X-Files episodes - Kill Switch - tackled this subject in part. It was co-written by William Gibson, awesome stuff.

Hey my NS4G is still my main phone ... doesn't count as totally old & outdated yet!
