Be there, and be square
Be there, and be square
I must be a damn zombie then, because I have hated ET since I saw it opening day, many years ago (I was in middle school then). It exemplifies the fucking worst traits of Spielberg. Have not seen it a 2nd time.
Same Here. Never seen it, never will
It's Go Time!
The Dude Abides
Dude, are you fucking this up?
Tom Waits
Twice I have made the pilgrimage to see him in concert.
I always liked her as Luann an King of the Hill.
32, wow that's way too young to go.
You boys gonna pull them pistols or just whistle Dixie?
GG's final season is enough for me to keep it off the best of list. The way the new show runners just absolutely took a huge shit on Luke ruined the show. That last season is unwatchable.
Criterion really need to get cracking on a director's cut of TRL
First one I saw was Wrong Trousers, back in '95. Still the best of all W&G. Even have a plush Feathers McGraw, right nest to my plush Opus. If I could only find a plush Tennessee Tuxedo, the penguin trinity would be complete
Johnny Unitas…
Now there was a haircut you could set your watch to.
I once watched about 10 minutes of Battlefield Earth, but that's it as for as the 100 list goes.
Well…
Fuck a Duck
Genesis
Fuck Yeah!!
This is the 2nd film in a row that goes into my "Better Never then Ever" list. Fuck Tom Cruise and his Xenu worship.
Here's the deal with RAN
Criterion no longer has the rights to RAN. Their distribution rights have expired. If you see a Criterion RAN DVD in a store, BUT IT!!!!
The Ed Wood Scene ends too ealry….
"Let's Shoot this Fucker!!!"
I disagree…
Inherent Vice was very easy to read. and it only has a cast of a few dozen. It is by far the most "standard" novel by Pynchon that I have read. I read this just after finishing James Ellroy's LA Quartet ,and it fit right in with the whole seedy image of southern California from those 4 books.
Might as well start at the beginning and read V. It 's not the easiest book to read, but it's not nearly as dense as Gravity's Rainbow. V should get you up to speed on how to read Pynchon. For me, it's not about the destination, it's the journey.
