@The Lab: It'd be a little bit of a trade-off, but it'd make your $1000 investment a lot safer.

Why don't companies put a strong sheet of perfectly translucent glass over the screen? Maybe put a coating so it isn't reflective, and you've got something not so vulnerable.

@infmom: Paul is all polish, no substance. That worked when he had the creative John and George (and Ringo's backbeat) but left him with very little on his own. You can't polish something if you start with next to nothing.

@infmom: There are a few great tracks out there. The amazing thing about the Beatles is that nearly 99% of their songs were good ones — what other musical act, ever, has a success rate like that?

@fastactingrelief: No. I'm sticking with the box set unless they throw some goodies in. In that case, I'll have no choice.

@avatar003: It is... I've been trying to place it, all I'm sure of is that it's somewhere in Midtown.

@Michael Scrip: Plenty of people care what it looks like. That's a large part of the appeal of Apple products — they're sexy. When we see things for the first time, we do a subconscious test — is it good looking? A lot of judgement is made in that one second.

@Michael Scrip: Sites like that certainly aren't bad, but they're clunky looking. Google or one of those guys should make a really nice interface to that information.

the thing is, though, we don't have one website that makes white page info as easily accessible and aesthetically pleasing as it is in the book. it's a lot of bouncing between search engines and other sites — not as pleasant as a page with a name and a number. i guess that will change though... i hope.

@redman042: That city is impossible to drive in without getting lost — I don't blame the GPS devices.

@bsoft: I've watched it. I don't love it. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad. It's actually pretty good. My issue with it is, like you said, it sticks to things that sitcoms have centered around for about fifty years. I like it, I'd just like it more if it dared to be a little more inventive. No the *computer* (desktop/laptop) is dying.

@valladolid: Not a troll post, I was being genuine. But way to assume malice where there is none — I'm sure you lead a happy life of pushing down little children who tell you to have a nice day.

Some will say this article was written just to publish something (possibly to fill a quota), but I liked it.

@CurisosityAteMyCat: The mental image of that dog doing that kept me laughing for a good minute or so.

@Zanzan42: Some magic fell out of an iPad

@rathat: I wouldn't be too sure about that
