Steroids can make you bigger and stronger but they won’t help your control and suddenly make you accurately throw pitches in tight places. Arrieta is physically dominant but that’s only 10% of being a pitcher. Pitching in corners with the right spin and trajectory and all that other physics stuff is more important.…
What a bizarre post. As a lawyer, surely you know that pretty much every case faces a long shot of even being heard by the Supreme Court. And then to suggest that this perfectly accurate characterization somehow indicates some sort of non-labor-friendly bias or something? Makes no sense.
Why is this entire comment a parenthetical aside?
Let’s cut the guy some slack on his day off. It’s not easy being a St. Louis policeman.
“Oh so now everyone who has a swatstika tattoo is a racist?”

These guys are blatantly showing up our announcers and are too emotional. That’s an unwritten rules violation.
Yeah, he has all that money he made from making video games anyway.
Cardinal fans don’t want the accussed actions of a few to represent all of them. “Most of us are classy enough to call him the n-word in the privacy of our home around only friends and family.”
1. He could be fired for bigotry, insensitivity, hurting ESPN’s brand, actively going against ESPN’s own interests (e.g. again, insulting trans people while working for a network that has awarded a trans woman for courage), etc.
Yeah, I don’t really understand why they haven’t canned him already. It’s not like he’s even a good analyst.
Can they just fire him at this point? I don’t know if it’s pride getting in the way, but he’s been daring it for months, maybe even years, now. There’s no way he forgot about ESPN giving Caitlyn Jenner an award last summer.
Titans fans have to be used to getting hosed by now.
“[Chacin] was pitching some kind of baseball,” Gonzalez said. “I think if it’s one of those decisions later in the summer, where you’ve got a winning streak going and you’re rolling, you maybe let him hit there. But he was pitching some of the best baseball I’ve seen this year.”
“I’m so glad I recorded this.”
Oh no, it’s totally legal, that’s why the can was covered in tape, the referees replaced the ball and there is an article on Deadspin.
