You are aware that people can wash their wash cloths right? They don’t just wash their ass, let it sit for a day, then wash their body again later right? I mean I’m sure some do, but your fear of dirty wash cloths can be fully controlled by your laundering abilities. 

They can’t smell themselves because they are so used to the smell. If someone is truly exercising, they sweat, which means they need to bathe. There is a reason middle and high school boys smell bad after gym, it’s because they aren’t bathing afterwards. 

One would use a different washcloth each shower...then you wash the washcloths in the laundry and sanitize it in the dryer. Pretty simple logistics that I was able to master as a child.
