Am I the only person who doesn’t give a fuck about the sexual nature of this and is just sad about the waste this will cause?
Vagina dentata!

The bark ain’t worse than the bite...
Well, the article itself mentions fucking it. Which I suppose could be as reference to one of the other orfices used for that action, but probably not.
I decided to boycott it for a different reason.
Headline: Doug Liman Boycotts “Road House” Premiere Because of Streaming
I can’t believe people keep rewarding anti-consumer practices like this. Why would anyone pay for a service that shows them ads? That’s just cable with less content. If the piracy scene ever disappears, I’d rather not watch at all than pay for a terrible experience.
I think the Academy has finally figured out that Wes Anderson makes Wes Anderson movies exclusively and maybe they just aren’t into them.
Of course, many of the problems with live-action adaptations of cartoons is that it’s almost always just a terrible idea to make a live-action adaptation of a cartoon.

I really liked it too, and unlike many I preferred the second season to the first, quite possibly because I loved Tituss Burgess’s role in it.
I think the songs in the second season were largely great, but the story was a bit harder to go with. Still, I would have watched a third season. Sucks to know that it was written but will remain maddeningly out of reach!
Yeah I didn’t love it either. I thought s2 was an overall better story, though. They got most of the “Explaining musical theatre tropes” out of the way in the first season.
It’s also because for some reason, they do not make it easy to stream. Why still in 2024 do a need a cable or live TV add-on to watch an awards show when I’m already subscribed to a bunch of streaming services? And on top of that, they said it would be streamable next day on Hulu, but this appears to be a lie. Still…
