Don’t care about the naysayers, I’m very excited for this. I love Barbie (unironically) and this looks insane in the best way. Having “Ken” on his undies seems very appropriate because the toys often have stupid little details like that. True to life (in plastic)!

All I really ask of this show is that they continue to supply me with style and pretty people. It’s a low bar, but idc. It sounds like they deliver on that, so I’m golden. Agree with your assessment of the review. It also feels like they were trying so hard to dryly recap (why?) that they forgot to talk about what did work, or what was enjoyable. That retelling of the beginning is so bizarre in particular, since it was actually full of humor, joy, and cameraderie.

I’m literally in disbelief when people say this. It’s like season 7 never happened. (Or maybe everyone just forgets because we like so many individuals from the cast now??)
