The irony of mocking other peoples values as “righteousness” on a thread for a religious movie is pretty delicious. My values and beliefs (you know, the very shit religion cares about) tell me that supporting someone with a horrific past is wrong. It is just mind blowing to me that you can’t get that.

Good lord this show is good. I keep finding myself thinking about it later. Really hard for some reason to accurately translate this type of speculative fiction to screen (even if it was made for it). So I’m impressed.

Eh, they also claimed that JARED FUCKING LETO doesn’t take himself so seriously in this, so maybe take this review with a grain of salt. Definitely still looks like a D to me.

Well this is some bullshit. RIP. He was always so fun to watch in their videos, in addition to obviously being an accomplished and talented musician.

I enjoyed it for the light romp it was, and will probably watch this season too. But I agree about Tom. He’s a little too reserved and nice to feel like a star. His character just felt a little underdeveloped in season 1.

She (the real Holmes) was a conventionally attractive, thin, young (at the time), blonde woman. I really wish the show would play this fact up more, because she is so charmless and weird but looking like she did really put on blinders for the old saggy white men she targeted.

I really didn’t think she could do it, but I’m pleased to be wrong. She has really captured the innate weirdness of this person. Like for instance, in every scene where she as Holmes dances. Those always kill me.

As a middle aged white woman, I have watched every one of the limited series mentioned at the beginning of this article. And I will watch this too. They are all mediocre, but they’re like a bowl of chicken soup. Comforting in their bland familiarity. Not a main course, but good for a light lunch aka background noise.

I’ve loved everything I’ve seen him in so far (Los Espookys, his stand up, supporting actor roles) so this is excellent news. I’m very into his specific style of weird.

Futurama is plain porridge, but Bob’s Burgers is the must see Tv for you? Huh. That tells us probably far more than you intended about who you are as a person.

I fully appreciate the passion you put into this. I would have probably felt the same but luckily, I’m not gonna watch it now.
