It’s worse than this. According to an article I read yesterday (I think in the Guardian, but don’t hold me to it), all of this shit went down on ONE STREET. Prospect Street. All of the reports said the women were missing from Prospect Street or lived on Prospect Street or whatever. I understand if reports of missing

Technically they do their jobs very well. The problem is their job is to protect capital, private property, and only that. Always has been.

I’m a boss. I have high standards, and I hold everyone, including myself, to them.

Shoot, shoot and shoot shoot is probably the official moto in all major cities’ police dpts in the US.

Almost without fail, when people spend that much effort to make people think they are THAT into something. Whatever it is, its usually compensation.

Maybe I’m a cynical bitch but I’m always shocked by how many people are genuinely upset and buy that these people are anything like their public personas. Like the John Mulaney thing and how genuinely upset people were about that and I was like, famous alcoholic turns out to be a cheater? Sounds about right. And yeah,

Thank you! I know its particularly egregious because he made his money off of being a “wife guy” and cheated, but all I think we should all be wary of the content creators that make their persona off being couple goals as you said. We ALWAYS find out they were faking it. We just had that Mormon group break up because

Wife guy falls in the “The lady doth protest too much, methinks” category.

This is basically true of any couple on social media who have over-the-top signs of affection. Just think of your friend groups, aren't those people always the ones with the worst relationships?

Yup. I’ve never understood the need to stay in relationships with people, when they clearly want to be single.

There was a woman being interviewed on Capital Hill a couple months ago who answered to many situations (eptopic pregnancy, pregnant eleven year old, fetal abnormality) that is not an abortion.

It’s the only moral abortion is my abortion argument. That many of those pro-life women have either had or have helped another

Totally agree.  It seem like a lot of these celebrity abortion stories revolve around dangerous or unviable pregnancies but we also need to normalize the idea that women’s choice shouldn’t just be because of those factors.

I mean, I think what she believed/convinced herself is a relatively common misunderstanding or way of thinking about things. We are currently seeing both legislators and citizens be shocked when abortion bans are impacting people with wanted pregnancies/high risk pregnancies. Lots of people don’t think of these

This comment section is giving me a pain.

Yup. Barely anyone mentioned she looked confused, dazed, and unwell. They just hyperfocused on her minimal weight gain. It’s really a sick, sad world.

I remember thinking after this performance “I could only wish that the “fat” version of me could look so good”.

Man, there was an entire episode of iCarly (I had a pre-teen daughter at the time) that was basically a thinly veiled parody of Britney and this specific performance, and holy shit did it age very poorly (shocking from a Dam Schnieder show, I know). It is bbn so rude and insulting and vicious, on so many levels. The

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that about Selena. I keep seeing her get all this love for her role in Only Murders and I’m like, she’s fine I guess? But definitely underperforms compared to, well, everyone else on that show.

I know you specifically said last night, but I was VERY excited that Only Murders won for Sound Mixing for “The Boy from 6B,” a TREMENDOUS episode, at the Creative Arts Emmy ceremony.
