When I first started coming to iO9, your “reviews” of Gotham episodes were what I looked forward to the most. The final season is about to start, so...bring them back maybe?

Kara defeats Clark in single combat during the season two finale last year. I figure something like that happened on Earth-X and Kara killed him because that’s something they would do there.

Yes, most monthly comics are 22ish pages. Annuals are, like, twice that(?). I rarely read them on a month to month basis and wait for them to come out in collected arcs, which are usually 6-8 issues. It's also generally cheaper that way (by maybe a dollar or so) especially DC comics NEVER go on sale.

Seeing as how they were charging $100+ per season when most tv series were in the $40-$60 range, I would expect this to reach the $300+ range.

Well, just because these kids are dressing up doesn't necessarily mean that they've watched the show or even really have any idea what they're recreating. They're just getting to run around, play dress-up, and occasionally do what the lady with the camera says.

Ali Adler is Supergirl’s producer. Ali Larter was triplets on Heroes. Just FYI.

Thing is, their positions on “oversight” are ultimately inconsequential to the plot of the movie. The reasons anybody does anything throughout are personally motivated. It’s not about philosophical political ideals.

The Confession is my favorite part of the event. I want to say Bendis wrote it, so it had the effect of redeeming Tony’s assholery with tears next to Steve’s prone body. First time a comic book made me cry.

One of the biggest pieces of news in this episode was that Anakin and Ahsoka saw each other right before the beginning of RotS. AND she fought alongside Rex at the “Seige of Mandalore” which I'm pretty sure we never saw in Clone Wars. Hopefully, those blanks get filled in in the various Star Wars media out there

You're totally right! It just says M. Carter. It could definitely be about Michael, and Peggy would have the same sort of determination to clear her brother.

The finale did seem rushed, but that could almost entirely be attributed to, what, three weeks of double episodes which had great pacing. I found the love triangle the most tiresome element of the season, perhaps because I’m just done with that trope in general. And, of course Peggy picked Sousa. History trumps

Winn has improved significantly since they gave him things to do/be other than be a lovesick puppy. And he had the absolute best line of the night with “You’re a glorified Windows Vista!” His new hook up is about to become a supervillain, though. It'll be interesting to see if that pushes him over the edge to ACTUALLY

You've probably never heard of Dear Frankie. A film with no action or cgi that also features a moment where Butler gives the finest performance of his career without saying a word.

Keisha Castle-Hughes also played the Virgin Mary in a movie where future Poe Dameron, Oscar Isaac played Joseph. That's like a figure eight, right?

Dude, you read my mind. I literally said this to a friend this morning. The only saving grace here is if Rey actually turns out to be a Skywalker, which I lay about 50/50 odds on. Kathleen Kennedy has said the numbered Star Wars movies will be the continuation of the Skywalker family saga. They need to have someone at

I’m not that familiar with Adam Driver, but when he took off his helmet, my immediate reaction was that he did not look like he could be related to Han and Leia at all. Then they did a shot from profile and he becomes very reminiscent of Hayden Christensen from that angle.
