Haha whoops my bad. Thanks for pointing it out! Guess I was too busy trying to sound smart lol. :)

Out of curiosity, what does she like about Adventure Time? Does she have a favorite character?

Fair enough. I just thought that her need to feel helpful ("Be Sweet" and "Stakes" come to mind) was a sign that things were turning around and that she did want to improve.

BOOM! Instant OTP.

Who's Doug, should I know him?

Oh ok, very interesting. Thanks :)

Where did you here that?

Care to clarify?

Well, she felt like she wasn't respected, and maybe she thought they only wanted to participate because it would be amusing to see how bad it would be? I don't know, otherwise, it's kind of ironic.

I love how articulate your comment is, and I agree with everything you said. This bomb has made me appreciate Peridot more than I thought it would, and her redemption was well deserved.

This is why I think Peridot's ultimate reason for rejecting Homeworld is not because of their disregard for life on Earth (although that may be part of it) but also because they strip her of her individuality, which, as you said, she is beginning to realize from Steven.

I agree. I love when the show explores Jake's relationship with his kids. They're all interesting in their own way.

Yeah, that's what I got from that too.

I personally love LSP, but I guess I can see where all this hate for her is coming from. However, I think the show is implying that she'll get better, so there's that to look forward to, I guess.

All of this perfectly articulates how I've felt about this show too. Thank you, maththemath!

Yeah, while I like episodes like this, the silly, adventurous ones are what drew me into Adventure Time in the first place. However, this season is apparently going back to the shows ' adventure roots, so that's good.

I don't think Adventure Time is trying to say that Jake is a horrible father. It's just that he feels that way because of the way his kids age and it's confusing for him. At least, that's what I got from it.
