What are you talking about ? He’s been nominated for an Oscar 6 times, has directed and written some incredibly well-regarded films and given amazing performances. He’s been around Hollywood for 60 years and has always had a rep for being a hard working perfectionist.

In fairness, I do recall an early 90s article about Beatty in which his pal Dustin Hoffman lamented that Warren would die alone because he had no wife and kids. Granted, he was in his 50s then, so I guess that is when longtime bachelors like him and Clooney start feeling the pressure.

It isn’t the quantity but the quality of his ladies that has impressed me. He dated virtually every starlet of the 60s and 70s. But I have never heard a single rumor about him being unfaithful to Annette. He somehow left his womanizing behind for good.
