No way could I do it now! But 2 slips layered w/ fishnets and a wee cardi worked wonders in the '90s.

Sorry, just saw this! Yes, tape across my eyes. Well, maybe not duct. Hell if I knew. All I knew is it was tape, I guess so my eyes didn't open during? Terrifying.

We're going to see the re-release of the film this Sunday! Big screen Scarlett!

Last one, I promise. Lauren Bacall, "Designing Woman". Sleeves. SLEEVES.

Maybe not on screen, but still. Gyspy Rose Lee. That gown, that FUR!!!

Shirley in that PINK! Love.

Me too! At one point I had over 100 vintage slips. True story, it was selling some off on eBay in the early 2000's that started my vintage clothing business! Now I've got hundreds but they're in my boutique. Selling vintage slips was what allowed me to work from home as a single Mom and create my own small business.

I could lose my mind posting to this! But one of my faves, hands down, the feather gown Ginger Rogers wore in "Top Hat". The movement! I'd love to see the color...

" Rogers, who had a great passion for fashion, was the impetus for the creation of the gown with head RKO costume designer Bernard Newman. She told Newman

YES YES!! The eye dress! SO Dali/Schiaparelli (but by Gilbert Adrian). One of my faves, and literally everything in the fashion show scene!!

When I found out I was pregnant, I went to my HR manager (was working at Home Depot then) and told her. Had no idea how maternity leave/insurance worked. She said I needed to sign up for short-term disability which would kick in next calendar year and cover it as long as the baby was born after Dec. 31, which was

Sounds almost exactly like my story! But 72 hours induced labor (2 weeks late as well), mother-in-law made it to town (I tried SO HARD to have that baby before she got here)...last minute c-section, but I wasn't numbing so they had to put me under. Last think I heard was "see you later, sweetheart". Then the nurses

That's perfection!

This is fascinating! I have a 16 year old cat that was born with an under-deveoped cerebellum (cerebella hypoplasia). He has a mild case, a little wobbly but gets about fine and is otherwise a normal little scrappy guy. Surprising she gets about so well without one at all...amazing what the brain can do!

I'd stay up for that. Oh, the dreams those nights!

The entire compilation of models doing this gives me raging anxiety. I broke my tibia/fibula 4 years ago on some stairs (snapped both in half, literally) and this just FREAKS me the hell out.

Does this mean Sarah Palin was right? Because I got $20 that says she can not only see this "Star Fort" from her porch but that she can skip rocks to it...

Cupcakes, cookies and root-beer floats? I literally cannot WAIT to see the dress that goes with this theme....

PLEASE say you named this lovely man after Skoda on Law & Order SVU?

"If you are like me and had no idea what the CR Fashion Book is, it is a magazine by former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, Carine Roitfeld."
