Such clauses aren’t legally binding. You can’t use NDAs to cover up illegal activity.

Or doesn’t allow them to schedule enough staff for enough hours to properly clean and maintain the facility.

If its not opened under new ownership, it will revert.

Yeah, all that pesky, expensive and time consuming refrigeration, cleaning , and hand washing hurts profits!

The problem is there’s only so much managers can do if the owner isn’t willing to shell out money to fix things.

I am honestly surprised that more restaurants don’t fail inspections.  Fast food workers typically operate under an abusive system with overworked managers who are too scared to lose their jobs to go find other work.

The fact that contracts exist that force people to hide the truth from government officials about how one party to the contract is threatening public health is amazing. How is this a thing? What kind of relationship to the truth can a society have if this is a common thing?

The rats would eat off of two or three buns in a bag and we were told to remove the bitten ones and use the “good ones” which means the buns the rat stood on to eat the top layer are the ones your checker burgers came on.

There is more to running a restaurant then keeping labor hours low.
