Agreed. Not to mention there is no way to place the post on a threaded rod cast into the concrete if he’s intending on swinging/ sliding it into place which is what appeared to be happening. I was trying to give him a little benefit of the the doubt since video production to tell a story is an art form and sometimes

This video might seem innocuous and even helpful but it is downright scary in lieu of any anchor. I checked his youtube page, and the comments section he responds to similar concerns we are mentioning here. To his credit he states that the concrete has 5/8” threaded rod that gets epoxy anchored into the post. The

Agreed. The Zmax label for Simpson is intended to indicate a galvanized coating for outdoor use.

Not to mention Simpson has a number of products that anchor AND raise the wood off the surface of the concrete. He’s had to at least walked through that particular aisle as his local lumbar yard. I kept waiting for him to finish with some interesting anchor detail, but no.

“Hosing out” was the idea the concept version had that never made it to production. It does a good job for spills and wipe up but the HVAC vents sit right on the floor under the seats.

It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that the Element is the love child of this and the CR-V. Look at that camshell. Yowza.

As the owner of an Odyssey, Element, and once a 5th gen Si, I whole-heartedly approve. I love me some hatch... and the ‘hot’ that goes into it. Small, Medium or Large.

Let me get this straight. I knew they were mad about the original plate on the car because stupid, but now they are upset because T.G swapped plates “illegally” to diffuse the situation that they were pissed off about in the first place? I have a kid with calmer tantrums. Sounds like a nice place.

1) the cameras are always on so get over catching one in a bad mood

Exactly. The Monaco, where Lewis intensionally bumped into his 2nd place marker stop.

Yes. Because the worst pain one can bear and the often high probability of death is the only way to describe a ruined life. Give me a break. There are many metrics for a “ruined life”. Simply finding the worst example and ignoring the rest adds nothing to the conversation.

Ha ha. Classic troll. I assume you wouldn’t be ridiculous enough to comment without bothering to read the article... You did read it didn't you? Please say you read it.

Yeah, 60 in 6.5 was not at all slow in the 90’s, especially for a base model.

60 in 6.5 seconds is not slow. 60 in 6.5 seconds in base trim anything isn’t too bad. 60 in 6.5 seconds in the mid-90’s base trim is pretty impressive. Those that think otherwise we’re probably still in diapers when the Supra was made.

As well as graduated ticketing fines and insurance costs based on the weight of the vehicle. Speed is only half the equation in an accident.

What about “fixes” that may be required on these cars? There is a good chance that anything done to make them compliant will change the power output a good deal and thus lower the demand. This of course would be dependent upon whether or not the fix is required or voluntary.

There’s nothing better than some terrible photoshop.

You just gave me an idea for a brand new type of “kick”starter.

This is the same for any fanboy of any product.

Yummy!
