Holy shit. Is this for real or did someone drug me? It’s like he’s trying to act like Harry Caray trying to act like him.

I’ve driven a few Cooper S’sss and I’ve never heard them burble that much. You sure that’s normal?

1 = more sad. 2 = a little sad but only if every car starts doing it. Then it becomes boring by saturation.

04 to 08 if I’m not mistaken

That part “the vtec kickin in yo” I agree probably does help sell more even if it’s bs. It’s the massive lack of taste these types of ads have I think have a net negative effect. I’m sure some buy in but I’ve got to believe more are turned away.

But it certainly doesn’t help sell more cars vs an ad not full of obvious nonsense. It might put off a few “enthusiasts” that would otherwise be interested in the car.

Nothing to see here folks. Ad wizards at work.

Thank you for bringing light to this. Every time I see this ad I feel like punching a penguin or some other adorable animal. Actually I just end up complaining loudly to the TV at which point my wife tells me to knock it off, mumbling she’ll have me committed. These ad turds do not get their market or taste for that

Slide under? What? It’s weird that you didn’t click the link and look at the doors opening. There is no way a conventional door is opening enough with that amount of space to allow someone to slide out. There is a minimum. If you see the doors up close it will be very easy to understand, that or just go to the website.

Have you seen a video or the animation of the doors opening? If you can’t get these doors open you definitely won’t be able to get in a regular door either. http://www.teslamotors.com/modelx

and with 90KW battery it would be a lot closer to the Model S 300 mile range.

No wagon sad face.

A net positive was not what I wanted to imply but if you have something that is clearly a negative (car with an accident on its record) and are able to sell it for the same price of one without an accident, then somehow you have been able to find something to bring up its value. A positive if you will. Number example

You do realize that Carfax has made an entire business model around tracking things that have a direct impact on a cars value? Things like accidents. Whatever power a new buyer has over a dealer is minus “x” on trading in a car with an accident. As you seriously suggesting that accidents on a car report have no impact

When you sell the car what is the carfax now going to say?

Also, it’s closer to the moon which helps.

I’ve had a few tickets over the years as well but one I too fought. Normally a 45 mph zone was a 25 with flashing light. I was behind a tractor trailer doing 25, passed under the light and couldn’t see it due to the view angle behind the truck (2 second rule was being followed), passed said truck and entered into a

Lets not forget that the entire idea of “accident forgiveness” just sounds like more expensive insurance for people who rarely get into accidents. The money comes from somewhere. Irritating on many levels.

New Land Cruiser... 80K base. It is an awesome “real” SUV but jeebus that’s expensive and yet nobody bats an eye. Park 10 of those next to a 5+ year old 911 and ask people to point out the rich guy car.

Doesn’t the P85 only come with Turbine rollers?
