Thank you. Not being subjected to abuse she couldn’t defend herself against is a blessing, in my world.

I’d go as far as to say that they’re worse than Uber. Uber, if only thanks to legal action and bad press, has actually made some basic efforts to improve some issues. As far as I can tell, AirBnB has not made even the slightest effort to improve, and has a much more profoundly corrosive effect on society as a whole…
I know lots of people who rent their homes out on Airbnb and they keep the majority of the money. Some friends bought a row house and rent out the basement/garden unit and live on the top two floors and on good months that unit pays for most of their mortgage. I also love staying at Airbnbs because I don’t really…
Also, who the fuck book rooms where the resident is still there, the fuck is that about?
This kind of shit is why I don’t fuck with Airbnb in the first place. But the blatant racism not withstanding, this bullshit company is basically a bunch of crooks who 1. fuck up the real estate market in places like NYC 2. are trying to be hotels without taking on actual hotel expenses like having liability insurance…
To avoid this mess I just generally book an entire apartment or place for myself and then invite whoever I want over. Like that’s just awkward having to share a space with someone that you never really met. Either get a place to yourself or a hotel room just saying
Felt entitled? To what? They said music was fine, then complained after they started playing it (at which point they turned it off). They talked (how dare they!) and then the complained more. “noise was not a problem” they said.
Two points:
People often just don’t know how to phrase words in the face of atrocities. We can only pray that Maleah is experiencing peace in death after living with such monsters. It’s that prayer, that hope of blessed peace in death, that allows those of us who remain to go on.
Airbnb is full of it. 5 years ago, I tried to book rooms in Seattle for my co-workers, I have a white sounding name but the profile picture in my email shows you I am not. Never heard from anyone or I got BS replies. I told my white colleagues to book their own rooms, lo behold, no problems. That’s when I realized…
She is so precious in every picture. This makes me so sad and angry.
So, was X acting as an agent of the police or a spiritual advisor, which might make his evidence inadmissible in court? Of course, if the police have dna and video they may have enough.
She was abused until murdered. She’s dead.
Quanell X cracked the case.
Quanell X went to the authorities after hearing more from the mother, which is something I don’t think he has ever done before. He said the waterworks were only for the camera, and in private she was calm, cold, and collected. She also told him details that no one not involved would ever know. Both parents are…
X did a great job getting a confession and the location of the body. But by making that all public, he's risked the trial - he should have kept his mouth shut in public instead of wanting his 15 minutes.
This story is terrible. Children’s Protective Services (CPS) failed this child and returned her to them after she was injured the first time. Her mom needs to be charged too because I believe this angel was already dead when Brittany pulled the stunt of going out of town for a funeral that already happened.
I feel like crying every time I read about this, every time I see a picture of Maleah. With all the suffering in her preciously few years, she still had a spark.
Essentially, you’d like the story of the bros who beat him up on the subway.
Not sure how Heath Ledger’s performance can be topped. I suppose this story provides background, but even the last shot of the trailer with elevator doors closing (or that’s what it looks like) just brings back memories of The Dark Knight.
