OMG that's great, and who is the lady laughing hysterically at the end? I want to be friends with her.

OMG That's the best!
Ahhh, ok, I see what you meant. I agree, and that's one of the things that I really enjoyed about Roald Dahl books as a child. I appreciate the darkness in his books, and I think the newer one embraced that more. I remember an interview with Tim Burton about Sleepy Hollow, and he was adamant that the kid get beheaded…
I was thinking more along the lines of that song the mother sings, and pure imagination. Those parts, and some other bits that are around, just seem so blech and sickly sweet.
You, me and Roald Dahl can have a not awful person club!
I hated the original as a kid, and still do. Always thought it was saccharine, boring, and hated everyone in it, including Charlie and Grandpa Joe. Rewatched it recently and still hate the thing. Tim Burton's at least entertained me.
I wouldn't go that far. I'm a cynic, through and through, but I was thinking more of all the other people at these parties who weren't directly involved but still saw bits and pieces and did nothing. The ones that saw a clearly drunk beyond her limits girl being "helped around" by these guys and didn't step in to say…
OMg I just stumbled on the one you're talking about....I.....Holy shit.
I hadn't heard that the pictures are out there. I've only seen the tweets, which are awful enough. This is an odd thing, but do you have a link? I've been trying to read up as much as I can on this, but haven't seen that. Ugh. I've been feeling nihilistic lately anyway, but this stuff makes me so angry I get focused.
Eh, depends. I'm super, super pale, but I have pinkish skin and red hair, so yellow is great! Makes my hair look all golden and highlighted!
