I think you are maybe missing the point? Your use of the term ghetto is correct. What is offensive is when ghetto is used a euphemism for black. As in saying, "that neighborhood is ghetto," when it's a middle class, low crime neighborhood that happens to be full of minorities.

There's actually websites that have similar features (albeit worded more PC) on NYC neighborhoods. Some of the cities' newspapers include neighborhood features that basically describe all of this without specifically saying black/white/Asian/hispanic.

That's what I've heard as well. Additionally, for some breeds it's more necessary that they have a disciplined owner. Basically, the dog has to understand who is boss. When you get inexperienced owners, problems occur.

I've always found it very sad. Tragic that Elisabeth had to spend her last years on earth dealing with this bullshit, and sad that an innocent child will have to deal with this fuckery all of her life.
