Is the ratio of girls to guys in Denver really out of whack? For every girl I know that moves there, I know two dozen bros that did.
They’re not being denied overtime. They’re just being paid time and a half instead of double. Boo hoo.
Maybe you should just go home, officer.
“There are chips and snacks like that and water that go around that are given to cops on duty. Usually it’s the people on the streets that try to feed us, they bring us water and sandwiches. [Local restaurants] send bags of sandwiches because they know the city isn’t. It’s crazy! It doesn’t make any sense to me.”
Imagine how the people working long hours, not getting overtime pay, and getting their necks broken must feel.
Three months after I was raped, I fractured two of my molars from grinding my teeth while I was sleeping. I woke up…
Unfortunately, stupid attitudes haven’t really changed in 50 years. Women were only allowed to compete in the bobsled starting in 2002 because they were deemed “fragile”.
First Cloney, outfitted in a fedora and overcoat, physically tried to stop Switzer, but she avoided his clutches.
That seems a little strange claiming that water rights holders aren’t part of the problem.
Apollo 13 is often called a "successful failure" because of the way NASA managed to turn the situation around and…
But you’re only a water “rights”-holder insofar as the government’s mandate extends you that privilege. If the mandate changes — as it rightly should, in such circumstances — your rights change accordingly. The rights of a rightsholder don’t somehow precede the law.
Sometimes I wonder if liberals go too far with stereotyping hardcore anti-government types as a bunch of delusional apocalyptic loonies.
Fuck you, I hope you die of thirst.
you say that as if the water rights holders had no vested interest in a state government that didn’t police their use... http://www.motherjones.com/environment/20…
That doesn’t feel very well thought out. No forethought 100 years ago->big problem today->you giving the finger to those who want to fix it. NO SOLUTIONS ONLY WATERPOCALYPSE! Bring on the Mad Max anarchy, I’ve got my spiked shoulder pads ready.
so what's the excuse for him planting a taser? claiming he performed CPR when he didn't? Or are these all holdovers from the fear he was feeling?
This is idiotic. Your point "you don't run away from law enforcement, period" is indicative of the PROBLEM IN THE FIRST GOD DAMN PLACE - that an unarmed man fleeing from a police officer in an empty lot where there is absolutely no threat whatsoever to the police officer, gets murdered in cold blood.
The SCOTUS ruled that a police officer can only shoot a fleeing suspect if the said suspect is armed and pose immediate danger to the general public.
So no. Just because you are running, doesn't mean the cops can shoot. Otherwise, shows like "Cops" would be very different. I mean why bother running through hedges when…
I feel like there's a lot in the time before the recording started that could add to this story.
