I really want a woman to explain to me how she can still be a part of the Republican Party. This is what I was wondering. A health crisis - especially one that makes eating painful - triggering an eating disorder makes a lot of sense to me. Plus ED and substance abuse issues are often comorbid.

I am obese and had a hiatal hernia that was corrected with surgery. I had a terribly easy to provoke gag reflex when I had the hernia. Since it’s been corrected I have a hard time vomiting even when I’m sick.

I had a stomach issue with similar symptoms and I did get very thin because I avoided eating. So to me I can see how that can be a thing. Like I couldn’t even eat plain brown rice without pain.
