I’m not willing to say that until after sentencing today. I think the jury interpreted the laws correctly. I obviously think that under the circumstances, no jail time is appropriate but that call is made in sentencing.

I disagree with the headline and think the bride is the best person in America for genuinely being okay with this and defending her sister. She was okay with giving up a picture perfect wedding AND the spotlight (because let’s be real, most of the people were watching the dinosaur). That’s pretty damn cool. 

Imagine that your father tweets out a whole statement defending the honor of the woman that said your father calls you fat and doesn’t know you and then tacks on an I love you to the end. Cold.

In case Mayor Pete made you think South Bend was progressive, you can read the comments on the local news stories about the female and POC leprechauns that have destroyed traditions. 

The Taylor University thing is interesting. They have a pretty strict honor code that prohibits dancing on and off campus for students (among the more obvious things you’d expect banned). Good for the alums and students there that are standing up for real Christianity. 

Have we tried telling conservatives that allowing transgender people in the military means that less of them will be using the bathrooms in Target or whatever dumb shit they're worried about.
