IS THIS BLOG JUST TROLLING US AT THIS POINT

I don’t know if I agree with this. Some people love to travel as a hobby. How is it different than having a friend who talks about/posts on social media all the time about sports or tv shows or comic cons?

If I have to hear about everyones kids all the time, see photos of their kids everyday then they can certainly hear tales of my trips and look at photos. If they think i sound like a dick then they should probably listen to themselves talk sometimes.

There seems to be a theme on flygirl telling people who travel not to talk “too much” about their travels. I think the site actually would benefit from an article about how to deal with your own thoughts and feelings in regards to other people talking about their travels. In my experience there is a lot of jealousy

Whatever, maybe I’m alone here but I’m absolutely interested in other people’s travel stories and pictures, and am not shy about sharing my own in a contextually appropriate way. I get that not everyone can/wants to travel- I grew up in a world where you maybe go to Europe once in your life. As an adult, I found I

I see this theme again and again...

Wow, really? No. Even us poors allow our children to keep the money that they earn themselves.

Actually, sometimes we do. We’re not perfect, especially not at 5 years old, when we think 19 cents is enough to start saving for a surgery and that because we found it in the couch, it’s ours. And sometimes, poor parents don’t want to take the 19 cents away from a five year old to pay the bills because the thought of

I would not want to be asked about the Middle East all the time either. Speaking in public on that is like playing Russian roulette.

Whatever is true, it doesn’t change the fact that whatever is going on (or went on) in their marriage is nobody’s damn business.

I hate all these celebrity paternity stories (this one, the constant rumors about Khloe Kardashian, etc.). Regardless of the DNA test, Bill Clinton is her father. That’s how parenthood works. Biological origins are useful for medical histories, and that’s about it; they are certainly of no use to the public. All of

WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE, YOU GUYS

Damn et tu Buddhism? Is there no religion that doesn’t try to pull this crap?

I had a dental emergency while in Germany and was trying to hold out until I got back to the states but couldn’t, so I gave in and went to the dentist. I only went because I was in tears from the pain and couldn’t sleep.

I’m a pretty extensive global traveler. Your tips are good, but you skip over the easiest one: before you leave, get a couple prescriptions from your doctor, fill them, and take them with you.

When I broke my leg in Dubai I went to the American hospital and the nurses and doctors just let me sit in the ER in hideous pain until I waved my hand and yelled, “Shattered leg! Morphine, now.” They rolled me into one of the rooms, the doctor comes in like I’ve sprained my pinky toe, and before he could say anything

I had the same issue with a wrist in Mexico. The doctor told me I needed “tequila and marijuana” but failed to provide me with either.

My friend was in Cabo San Lucas last year when they got hit by a hurricane that caused a lot of damage, especially to the airport. My friend broke her ankle in the ensuing chaos and had to wait 3 days before being airlifted out of the area by the Federales, to be stabilized in Mexico City before catching a flight back

And I’d argue that denying gay couples their marriage licenses isn’t practicing her religion, it’s a violation of her religion... render unto Caesar’s what is Caesar’s and God what is God’s, and all that, and OH! Plus, that whole love each other, do not judge lest ye be judged, etc.
