Exhibit A of the fact that is no liberal media bias or liberal bias of any kind in this country. Can you imagine any prominent liberal figure taking this stance? They know they will get buried even by their base, so every support of any kind of protest is always preceded by non-violence.

I had Covid about a month ago. I’m vaxxed and boosted. Like you, it was little more than a summer cold. I had a few days of just generally feeling like crap, but only had the slightest of fevers and a sore throat, little or no congestion. By the time the test results came back, I was already on the mend.

Was funny after previous gear was lamenting insufficient battery supply. They just need to say it costs too much, the demand is not going to to be satiated any time soon.

Interesting to note that a lot of the layoffs were people doing labeling work - companies like Meta, Google, etc. invest in a ton of this work to help improve their AI/ML models, and sadly, outsourced workers in the Phillippines, India, etc. can do the same work with greater efficiency and accuracy and in much higher

I am an analyst for a legacy automaker. While we like to pretend we will with every new launch, we don’t conquest. EV’s are an immature market, so it might be a different story, but I just don’t see Tesla buyers going to Ford or GM in large numbers. I of course hope I’m wrong.

Sold? Maybe. Dead? I highly doubt it. I’ve been an auto industry analyst for 15 years. Brand loyalty is hugely important in the industry, and Tesla has a head start over pretty much all other automakers.

Neutral: After avoiding it for 2 years, I ended up with Covid. My daughter got it last week, likely from her boyfriend that went on vacation but could have been from her vacation.

But the average car price should really be lower than that. How the hell can the average household budget for a car that’s over $40k?

I think you’re right.  For even the small cars on the market now (Corolla, Civic, etc.), why would a manufacturer put “rare” chips in those when they can put them in Ridgelines and Tundras for double the profit?

Third Gear: One of the significant reasons that car buyers aren’t going back to smaller cars is that there are significantly fewer to small cars to buy. Want a Fiesta or Focus? How about a Cruze or a Dart? How about a cheap VW Golf or Honda Fit? Forget it. Those aren’t available anymore.

Is your suitcase a cardboard box?

Traveled in Europe this spring and they are far more strict about the actual size allowed on board. I think enforcing the size requirement AND lowering or eliminating fees for checked bags would go a long way.

I do it because I’m TIRED of sitting and need to stretch my legs immediately. Flying sucks.

Boarding the plane as well. Watching the brain freeze of someone clunking a case up against the opening of a space that is three inches too short is fascinating, and makes you wonder what they’re thinking. That the 10th time the bag is going to shrink??

I haven’t, but that’s what the insurance is for. You’re still going to be out of clothes even if you pack a big carry on. The last couple flights I took, the over head bins were full and they made you check your carry on bag anyways, my little drawstring was fine.

While we’re at it they should change a few other things too.

We should board the back of the plane first, boarding front to back makes zero sense.

If we don’t get rid of overhead bins, then when the plane lands everyone who doesn’t have a carry one should be allowed to walk off, then everyone with stuff in the bins can

I feel like much of this problem would go away if airlines stopped charging for checked bags. It’s ridiculous that they are even allowed to charge us to bring luggage when we travel. Bring back the free checked bags and less people will be trying to cram a giant roller suitcase in the overhead bin.

When I book my ticket I always think to myself something like, “Nice, 10 rows back! That means it’ll only take like 2-3 minutes to deplane!” and it always takes like five times that amount. And you sit there, and watch people utterly unable to figure out how to efficiently grab a bag and walk their ass down the aisle.

That's because those people are idiots, not because the act of pulling out a bag is difficult or time consuming.

The airlines brought this on all of us by charging for checked luggage.
