They’re fine if you’re using them in a city, short distances and recharging every night, but as you say, charger access is not designed for truck + trailer, and charge time is not…

Agreed, we see about the same drop in FE when towing a not terribly large trailer. But it’s a lot more convenient to stop for petrol frequently than it would be to recharge a Lightning every 150 miles.

It’s very cool, although Car and Driver did a writeup on what happens to range when towing...short answer is nothing good. But that will be true of every electric. They’re just not the tool for extended distance tow/haul...yet
