I’m a historian. Thats 100% accurate to history.

A too-wide generalization but one that may hold some truth here: Women tend to internalize pain; men externalize it. Both are dangerous for the person in pain, but only one of them is dangerous to the rest of the world.

I just hope people understand that this is a toy first and foremost. I’ve seen too many people who only play games bashing the thing hard because they’re looking at it from a video game perspective. I hope that parents who pick this up for kids or are just curious what it is, get the information that it is a toy with

BUT... BUT... That’s the BEST part!.

Damn, I would have killed to have so many girls interested in mainstream gaming when I was in high school. All these boys are lacking vision: a shared interest is an unbeatable icebreaker. Dumbasses.

Yes, lets overthrow the government and become communists, that’ll make everything better! /s

Volvos should play ABBA.

Hate to break it to you but Target is really not much better than Amazon or Walmart. They’re anti union and pay their workers very low wages. Plus this:

Im not an Amazon fanboy or anything, but this is a very stupid article

Right. So stupid.

But this article makes no sense. What is it that you are making illegal? Nobody is requiring cities to do anything - they are making offers of their own accord. Is this what you would make illegal? For cities and states to administer their own local policy?

Remarkably stupid blog post, you’re welcome.

Granted...just seems that Amazon/Bezos is a convenient and frequent whipping boy around these parts. 15x the posts for about a quarter of the proposed incentives (based on my city’s proposal). Rather ironic considering GMG takes the king’s shilling while doing so.

I ordered 9 things on amazon this weekend and i hope my city wins the amazon 2nd HQ. The biggest employer here pays no local property tax and was incentivized to build here. Then it brought 20k professional jobs to the area. This town has gone through a massive boom because of them and its a great city.

Wyze is selling at a loss currently (they want to gain marketshare at the expense of profits) but yes its great.

Like I said, it’s more likely they’ll charge with the lesser crime because it’s easier to prove. But, that hasn’t stopped DAs from reaching in the past. I want the swatter, and the gamer who requested the swatting, to face some time behind bars, too.

He sure as shit fucking is. It’s not like he called in a noise complaint or something. He made a call of a nature that would prime the cops to anticipate the need to use deadly force. He told them there was a hostage situation in which a person had already been shot and possibly killed, and there was the possibility

Warning shots are a movie/TV show invention. Gun owners and even the worst trained police have it hammered home that you do -not- point the gun at anything you don’t want to shoot, ever. Warning shots/aiming to disable is not smart to say the least.

Yup. Swatting someone is no different than hiring an assassin to kill someone. Whatever the consequences end up being, they’re at fault.

Exactly. Many, many cases are used to proved “examples” to potential follow-on offenders.

Make this one hurt. And make the little shitweasel responsible cry all the fucking way to prison.

This ended in a person’s death. It ended in a police officer killing an innocent person (and yes, the cop was at fault for pulling
