I have all of my receipts emailed to me. I converted all of my interior lights to Cree and Feit bulbs over the course of spring with the first six bulbs going in in Feburary without any failures. Hopefully I'll get lucky and all twenty-one bulbs in my house keep on truckin' because I'd really like to get dimmer…
Are you suggesting the Philips, FEIT and Cree branded LED bulbs are inferior to that thing? I'm not saying they aren't I would just like to know why they're not as desirable when they're fantastically affordable and hum along at a cool 7.5watts.

I don't know what Home Depot's you're shopping at, but mine carries Phillips A21 LEDs for $35. They also carry Cree branded 40W and 60W equivalent bulbs in the $10s and they're expensive when compared to the Feit branded 40W and 60W equivalent 3 packs my local Costco carries.
