On the multi-lane roads I drive on, if you slow down a little and leave more space, somebody in another lane will promptly swerve into the gap. It’s not even because they want to get ahead; they’ll do this even when their lane was moving faster than yours.

The infiltration of all the safety mechanisms, such as lane-keeping assist, collision mitigation systems, and the like. I feel they will reduce the common sense factor of people in control of a 4000 pound death brick. While I concur that they can be useful, I feel they will become a crutch to driving.
