I know this is old, but I am with you. I was looking for a reliable, fast, comfortable, and sufficiently “engaging” ride. I considered challenger. Too old or overpriced for examples in my price range. Probably over-hooned. ES. OK but that dash was so numbingly plain. Taurus Sho. 2k right off the bat for any used

ME412!

No love for a used LS hybrid?

A nice custom canvas top with button snaps and this thing would be incredible. I was hesitant at first, but adjustable suspension makes me think the owner did some serious planning to make sure the mods were reliable, not just a bunch of spaces on stock springs.

If they brought back the 270 HP v6, this would be seriously fun on dirt roads.

Every German vehicle I’ve owned, including a vanagon, would leave the lamps on if you turn the vehicle off with running lights on.

“He, a trained physicist, had plenty of his own cash..." lol. Physicists are generally broke and spend their entire career trying to attain tenure. There is a strong misconception that STEM = Money.

Every complex in California has this rule. And every time I moved I asked them to clarify the intent in writing. It’s always been that a vehicle should never be disabled. I’ve always warned the property management office that I drive a 30 year old VW and I would occasionally be pulling it apart to keep it running.

Your 'mad-craiglist-engineers' were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should."

I’ve seen an old saturn sedan with the safari treatment. Never had I wanted a saturn until seeing that. Toyota offered a x-runner taco, why not a factory 1.0” lift, some fender flares, and knobby tires to come with that new AWD prius?

What? No Vanagon? It’s the perfect machine!

My passenger vehicle design book said they were to relieve the low pressure regions that form on one side of the vehicle when it hits a heavy crosswind. Basically it helped with stability. However, it absolutely is designed with door closeability in mind.

I wish they had made a Toyota version of this, and just called it the Supra

I think gas is going to inevitably go up because people will realize that our roads are crumbling due to the subsidized gas prices we have. Nowhere else in the world is gas so cheap for so many people. If we paid $6 a gallon for gas, we would surely have nicer roads and smaller vehicles. But I find swerving at highway

I love gaming. But wow do I yell at my tv when I do. Totally out of character.

Credit scores are ridiculous. They try to group you with other people by age, income, and whatever other information they have to create this score based on your credit useage history. So being in my mid twenties with no debt, 100k in the bank, and 40k in credit available, my credit score is still stuck just below
