Those tail pipes are welded on for testing. It’s so the shop can hook up a pressurized hose and run a leakdown test. The production ones will be closer to what you see on the concept and in Forza

Not just the course of BMW design, but the course of automotive design. Even the E65’s rival got a Bangle butt. Not to mention flame surfacing was adopted by just about everyone, it seems.
