Absolutely loved this episode - it had everything I love about the show in spades. Humour, heartbreaking drama, incredible acting, and I seriously cannot wait for May to find out what my favourite characters are doing in the aftermath of Chloe's rescue and Lucifer's learning the truth about her.
As to nitpicking about

Actually, time moves differently in Hell… seconds there is years on Earth… perhaps in Heaven too. So the second Lucifer quit, as he was heading to Earth, God sent Amenadiel to bless the Deckers with Chloe. He would've had time to spare. Just a thought…

Well they certainly are to ME! :)

He might still - looks like they make up next week… I'm really looking forward to that conversation!

Yes, pansexual would be more accurate :) And I agree about the 'celestials' not associating sex and love… while they can feel physical pleasure/pain they don't seem to have much experience with emotions at all. Which is why Lucifer is shitting his pants at the realisation he loves Chloe :) I often wonder how the

Lucifer doesn't lie, unless by omission. What could he say, other than "I've realised I love you and I have no idea how to deal with that so I'm going to avoid you, sorry…"?

I cheered Linda at that bit! :D She is one strong woman, I'm so glad Lucifer confided in her.

Yeah, Maze is a demon and enjoys torturing, but only those who deserve it. Or those who also enjoy it (her sex toys). I don't think of her as perverted. And she's bi for the same reason Lucifer and presumably all the angels are probably bi; they are higher beings and above the quaint old human notion of love only

I loved him in that! That show was hilarious, and I'm not surprised he nails the comedic delivery when needed (pretty often) as Lucifer. It was great training.

I think showing his face was absolutely the right move - it showed how completely vulnerable Lucifer was letting himself be to Linda… and the viewers too, who could still understand her shock but at least we had the benefit of already knowing he was telling her the truth all along. That scene was absolutely brilliant,

Oma's New Year's wafels, olliebollen and… I dunno how to spell it but it's like big chocolate ants and sounds something like "hargleslarg"? :)

I'm looking forward to world building too but doesn't everyone already know the mythology of angels and demons, Heaven and Hell, etc? I think it's much more interesting seeing the differences and similarities between the supernatural and human characters and how they literally come from two totally different worlds

Yep. Though I think as a nod to it they could've had Dan just glance at Lucifer's back and frown, then dismiss it or something. He is a detective after all, and notices things, and files them away for future reference.
