Ugh, Idaho and Pennsylvania do it too? The one I know is in Southern Illinois.
I feel you. Near me, there is a town called Du Bois.
Sigh... I'm too old.
Exactly what I was about to say— that's precisely why I want it! I ordered one too.
Too true. Just last month we lost a friend to CF at only nineteen years old. She’d been through so much, including a double lung transplant. It's a shitty disease.
We did this all the time when I was a silly teenager by using the car dryer at the local automatic car wash. :D
Never fear, I'm not about to start defending the Salukis. I tend to avoid college/party towns myself, anyway.
What are the rules regarding love with an animated character?
If you keep going, there's even MORE Illinois! Like, hundreds of miles of it! Way down here, south of St. Louis, pretty much any spot will do nicely for skywatching. :)
It definitely helped the last time I was pulled over that the officer was smokin' hot. :)
Dandelion??
No no no no no no no. Yes, there is henna. Henna stains a reddish color. PERIOD. It’s a plant, lawsonia inermis, and the lawsone in it produces the red stain. Real, actual henna is safe for almost everyone.
I love this. :)
I'm so glad to see Hero being recognized! I've considered it the most gorgeous film since I first saw it, and it blows me away every time. It's a stunning piece of work.
Hockity Pockity!
The same can be said of Southern Illinois. I know many people who were born and raised here with the most unbelievable drawl, and I can’t stop wondering how it came about. MOST of us don’t talk that way here, but there’s an entire segment of the population speaking with the full-on southern accent.
And twenty years later, I still catch myself singing that I have no legs. Though I have legs.
Understanding word roots is fun! Unfortunately, it also takes away that extra-click protection. The headline was enough!
One of my favorite driving songs! :)
