Oh, OK
I think they are as bored as the viewers.
Six seasons in and Scandal feels like wash, rinse, repeat… Sigh.
Trust me, in my opinion it gets worst….
I am so very pleased with this episode.
The food was great, Sylva got a win and…. Emily is GONE.
Gone after a completely individual challenge; no chance of blaming anyone, no opportunity for deflecting or, remaining silent during the planning so she can complain throughout. I knew it was her the moment the cakes came…
I prefer him over his brother any day.
Enjoyed his return on TC masters.
Made me laugh all over again.
I am not blaming them for anything; what I wonder is how many of these particular chefs would be opening restaurants at this point of their careers (or not at all), were it not for Top Chef.
Yep.
Dreams don't always make good reality.
I take solace from the fact that Emily is most likely next.
Agree with everything you say about the show; except in this case it's Katsuji so, Yeah.
After reading the articles I can say, that there is NO WAY in hell that I would pay that kind of money for the meal of an untested chef. No matter how talented you are, experience goes a very long way.
Damn, forgot about that…
The one downside for these chefs after TC is that many of them seem to leave with the intention of opening a restaurant and so few of them succeed long term.
Being talented in the kitchen doesn't mean having the requirements to own a restaurant.
I think he was so shocked to be on the losing side with so many dishes that he immediately switch to survival mode and couldn't help himself. It backfired spectacularly.
I was so exhausted by Katsuji's antics and game plays, that for once I don't mind the huge pass the judges gave John for his horrible expediting.
At judge's table, Tom didn't let Katsuji's get away with his double talk and finally called him on his BS.
Ding dong, the witch is gone. Huzzah!
Thanks for sharing this, I thought the previous immunity was still playing on him at that time.
Good point.
Actually for me, the ONLY way to watch TC is to not get attached or root for any particular chef. That has been the case for years now.
I enjoy the competition, the creativity and the good food they produce.
Thank you for the info; yours and the info others shared, clarified things.
At first she owned up to it by putting it in the context of her dream had just been crushed.
