both are top notch at christian allegory & imagery but rectify is so much more simple & allegorical - hannibal is so operatic & multilayered. the two best shows on television at the moment, for sure.

I believe he was also the cult leader "Daddy" in one of the Six Feet Under cold opens, too. I'd remember that voice anywhere.
