Should I file this with the whole Dita hanging out with Karl Lagerfeld thing?

Congratulations choppery!

I can not see Angelina Jolie in any role and not see Angelina Jolie. I can not get lost in her acting and forget that she is with Brad Pitt and her daughter is Shiloh. I just can't see anything with her in it anymore.

It is a good thing she doesn't work at an ice cream shop.

immaculate.gaenor, you and your friends are fucking awesome.

@curiousgeorgiana: I wonder if this is similar to George W. being the only Bush with a Southern accent who acts like a cowboy while denying his New England roots.

@ShaynaLK: As my US History teach would say:

@itsonreserve: I agree. I am mostly trying to point out that it is a very difficult decision for parents and how easy it is for us to say what is bad parenting. I do not think parents who stifle or attempt to force their children into gender conforming behavior are trying to harm or repress them. I just don't think

After seeing this, my fear of mascots is heightened. With that cat like agility my belief that I can outrun mascots is no longer comforting.

@small-fox: I did not make any assumption that she would be better off if she had forced them into gender conformity. I am pointing out that non-conformity can lead to problems and parents are faced with a difficult decision.

@toxicrocker: shitmyexsaid.tumblr.com: That is great for you but I'm simply acknowledging that it is a difficult choice for a parent and I'm not sure I feel the ability to judge a parent for wanting their child to have the less difficult road. Sometimes it is easy to label someone as a bad parent when we forget that

@SilentShout: It is a theory based in psychology and sociology. Again, a theory but it is based in research and evaluation.

@SleepsWithButterflies: Kids are horrible and there are parents that only make the experience worse.

@GodOfBiscuits: That is kind of is what I am saying. Maybe she will open access for the next generation of parents to allow their daughters to be tomboys without then being labeled tomboys.

@lollilove: I think she is fascinating, the choices she is making. And I would never be the kind of parent to force somebody to be something they are not. I think that is just bad parenting.

@sissylarue: But you are asking a child to fight that battle.
