Maybe when the editors at Marvel saw the book she produced they decided shelving it was better publishing it. That could speak directly to the quality of the work produced, either the writing or the art.

ArenaNet specifically says she was not dismissed over the online reaction. Price f’ed up on her own and the company decided to part ways with her over it.

If nothing else she was very rude and unprofessional to a customer in public forum. If she had backed off and apologized, as smarter people do when they make a PR mistake, she might have kept her job and moved on with a warning.

Beth, I strongly suggest you consider this Reddit post. It puts the episode and the season in a very different light.

I think the prequels hurt the franchise but Star Wars still had Luke in its back pocket to revive the series. That option is now largely gone.

For whatever reason I think a lot of people are now over Star Wars.
