Baked beans? Absolutely. That’d be an ingredient in a proper chili dog. Cream cheese? I haven’t tried that but considering I love it on a bagel and bagel just = round bun, it stands to reason I’ll accept it on a hot dog. Actually, I’m going to try that.

Depends where you are, but I believe Canadian Nice to be real.

Yeah my thoughts on Billy in season two, where he was just kinda there with not much character development and only served as a minor antagonist, was someone in the writers’ room pitched the idea of having a character that began and ended at “what if Ted Bundy but in Stranger Things” so the tying up Heather thing

Not to mention the question of how you’re supposed to go back to that job after that, to continue working with the manager who completely screwed you over and somehow not spend every minute of every day looking over your shoulder wondering what this random asshole who holds this incredible arbitrary power over you is

Nah, she got vilified on the internet. No mention of an apology or anything from either the manager or corp. That does not pretty much “fix the error.” The only person who suffers in that situation is the employee.

Being unjustly fired is not an “insignificant blip”. Never-mind the stress of suddenly finding yourself without a job, even a few days of missed wages can could be a huge disruption for the many millions of people in this country living paycheck-to-paycheck without savings

Critics who treat ‘adult’ as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in

The 20 ad breaks showing on the bottom are what puts it over the top

At the end of the first episode I was hoping that they had unceremoniously killed him off. When he came back possessed in the second episode I was annoyed. At least they didn’t have him pull any racist bullshit this season. The show isn’t nearly strong enough to handle that kind of antagonism, and watching it try to

Honestly I thought she had more actual chemistry with the teacher this season than Hopper. They were cute when she was helping him practice talking to El, but most of the time he was angry and yelly and she has trauma from a relationship with that kind of guy

It’s like the “stalking for love” subplot in Season 2- perfectly in the norm for a 1980s storyline, but the “slap slap kiss kiss” thing is also pretty dated. If you and another person keep arguing every time you are together, it is not the sign of a promising relationship. It likely won’t end well

Protip: They almost always give out 2x the maximum screening tickets because they expect a lot of people will no show because it was free. This happens all of the time. Arrive extra early for screenings.

Yessssssss.  He kept pushing even after she was clearly uncomfortable.  She seemed to get more comfortable later, but the “I’ll wear her down!” thing isn’t really cute.

If anything it almost increased the tension to me.  Seeing the reactions of everyone being like “What the fuck is this shit??” only added to the feeling of gloom-n-doom, in addition to being hilarious.

Meanwhile, it hasn’t even been a year since she saw her boyfriend get gruesomely murdered by demodogs. And Hop was there to see it all too. She’s not ready, Hop. For someone who talks a lot about the effects of trauma (back in season 2) I felt like Hop could’ve been a little more understanding with that. But I

She’s been single ever since her husband mysteriously disappeared...presumably into the UpsideDown.

I did too but I think I was answering a work email or getting a beer during that scene and didn’t pause it.

Your read on Robin is extremely inaccurate. Watch the season :-)

Just want to take a moment to remember our dear friend, Bob, who was a far better match for Joyce than Hopper. RIP Bob.
