That and the getting up montage were just the best thing. I could just imagine the rage tears over them.

Ive seen CM 3 times and honestly Ive loved it more with each viewing. I cant wait to see more of Captain Marvel.

I admit that it’s shading, but I feel like in the beginning she blasts him, but it’s not fully intentional and she thinks ‘oh no I shouldn’t have done that’. In the end, she 100% intends to send Yon-Rogg back into a rock and has no qualms or apologies while she does it. The biggest character arc we’ve ever seen in an

I mean I cant explain why they chose Carol Danvers over other Captain Marvels, but I hope that the super success of Black Panther pushes Marvel to include other nonwhite characters, say someone like Kamala Khan.

I suspect that the scene plays differently for men and women. Lots of women have been hearing something akin to what Yon-Roggs been dishing out to Carol, so I think that we tend to see ourselves in it. That said, I still think that the movie shows enough of her buying into what Yon-Rogg has said to make it work.

When Yon-Rogg is doing the hype up right before she just punches him hard enough to have him fly back forty feet, I just rolled my eyes because it was just so familiar and then that perfect action and line.... Not going to lie, that scene basically pulled the movie up a whole grade for me.

Both the getting up montage and her final shake-off of Yon-Rogg were moments that just made me so happy.

I mean she basically saves the day in the movie....

My guess is that she meant a solo female protagonist because not only have we had Black Widow, but also Peggy Carter, Hope Van Dyne, and of course the kickass combination of Shuri, Okoye, and Nakia.

This also seems to be continuing with the lead up to Endgame. I was watching some of the press stuff that they’ve been doing on YouTube and the comments are just full of people claiming that the rest of the cast can’t stand Larson or that she was just extraordinarily difficult to work with. And all because she had the

This is why I have also taken to using Apple Pay wherever possible.

Ive driven by this Perkins many, many, many, many times. Ive eaten there more than once (never my choice). Of course someone took an iguana in there.

Given what the investigation has so far been, which is just showing pictures to friends and family and asking if they recognize the person(s), I don’t think it’s in danger of going off the rails. Plus with the podcast at least, their rules are pretty much meant to keep things from going off the rails. That said as I

Its also really well done. I second this recommendation.

Hi, I’m a lady who was also born in the 80s. I also know other ladies who were born in the 80s. You might be correct that explicitly telling girls that they aren’t good enough for being girls isn’t common (although I guarantee that it still happens today). BUT, lots of women have been implicitly told that they are not

I dont even get the hate for ketchup on hot dogs. My go-to hot dog toppings are ketchup with bread and butter pickles.

I chose the one that had the most toppings that I went “hmm thats a solid topping choice.

Im going to guess it’s because most of them are based in Chicago where its cool to hate on ketchup for some reason. And yet, you are correct about ketchup on a burger.

Despite disagreeing with the first round pick of lettuce, I have to go with Gwen. All of her choices were on point, while everyone else just had a true ugh, never topping.

Because heaven forbid a woman sport makeup and appear traditionally feminine while kicking ass.....
