I think it’s because not protecting your copyright makes the slope that much more slippery when you do decide to protect your copyright.

Absolutely, my cousin’s wife died at 30 from one. Everyone should know the symptoms of stroke and that if they or someone they know experiences them they should call 911 and explicitly mention the word stroke because those seconds could mean a lot.
