Have a nice summer!

I don't imagine most people, except for neo-nazis and other white supremacists, calling Nazis a culture….

Why does the universe's golden retriever have to be in a movie with her???

Oh man, I probably would've broken down in tears at that news.

Good…Man I have to be one of the few people alive who has animosity toward Henry VII.

For what it was, it did. It was still pretty trash.

I hear you. I don't get why you need to twist history when it's already so crazy.

The Tudor dynasty seems to be full of the "hahaha all of your stuff ends up being for naught" like Henry VIII's quest for a son who did nothing while his two daughters….

If you'll note, I don't make any mention of Depp at all and only ended up using Heard's name because I was afraid that the pronoun game was going to make what I was writing hard to follow. I was merely pointing out some facts about domestic violence that need to get figuratively hammered into people's heads.

Awwww Nostradumbass! I'm hoping that with the people behind the show knowing that it was likely that they bring back as many people as possible and if they can't actually bring them back that we at least hear about them.

It got better as the first season went on. It was never going to be high art, but it did manage to capture something. Plus there were some pretty interesting and great conversations about the show here on the AV Club that made the show worth something.

I'm not shocked that this is cancelled. The show was in a weird niche as it wanted to be like a Gossip Girl in 16th century France, but you can't have the bedhopping that goes along with that type of show, so they came up with the dumbest possible reasons for people to end marriages. People expecting anything

It didn't help that it was written by just one person and he really didn't seem to understand how people worked. I know that he said multiple times that Edith moved passively through life and that's why she could never get a win, with the implication being that Mary moved actively through life. I am still floored that

May it happen sooner rather than later….

Heaven help me for engaging but…. People who engage in abusive behavior may not engage in such behavior in every relationship that they are involved in. There may be certain things, such as substance use, that make abusive behavior more likely, but those things in no way excuse the behavior.

I can't say much about Game of Thrones as I've only watched into the second season….

Those would be some crappy, crappy sheets.

I don't claim to know everyone but at worst people I know found it 'kinda bleh'…I don't know anyone who outright hated it, but I do know a fair amount who liked to loved it.

But knowing it exists and then seeing how much or little affects the box office take can provide a nice big clue.

Did it work? If it did, what story did he think was legit?
