miquonranger03: The Quickening

@Gotlactose: It's a private high school, and because it's Quaker they don't give scholarships.

I got lucky this year; I didn't need any new textbooks. My AP Calculus AB text is also used by BC, French 4 uses the same book as French 5, etc.

@MisterStegs: I think that with these high precision cables (IIRC, HDMI cables are made up of something like 40 discrete fiber optic glass cables) the quality is hit or miss. For the price, the gamble is worth it, in my opinion.

We'll see. Maybe they're getting ready for the massive shift in atmosphere that Agito is supposed to represent.

CDs, sometimes. If I really like an album, I often end up purchasing the physical version, simply because I like having the jacket and whatever comes with it. It's nice to have something tactile because digital goods can feel so evanescent.

Inexplicably shiny Naomi Campbell and her army of clones request to have dog feces and diamonds on different flavors of chewing gum thrown at them. I want to see this turned into a film.

@interkin3tic: If you only buy oxen and food, you get there very, very quickly. You might even need some liquid...water for...yourself?

How much have they made? It'd be interesting if there are still small companies like this making a profit from Second Life initiatives that aren't fake penis related.

@John_Norad: Only a couple of them are the same games, and the ones that are ported control better and don't cost more than the iPhone version.

Looking at these prices, they're really not competitive on most items. I looked for an HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable. DeepSurplus priced it at $7.50, and a quick Amazon search found it for fifty cents plus shipping. And it was a 6-foot cable versus a 3-foot cable at DeepSurplus. Even Monoprice is more expensive.

@Salen: MEMBERS ONLY! CLOSED! CLOSED! CLOSED!

Combining C + C Music Factory with video gaming reminds me too much of Make My Video...ugh.

I wish that Tracy Jordan's son would go back to 30 Rock and stop trying to be another annoying "urban corporate mascot". Also, I wish they'd stop selling the PSP Go already. When you have to include ten free games with a system to convince people to buy it, it's over.

@Zurtech: Did you play any of the Minis?

I know somebody who left their keys in the door and their car unlocked in the middle of New York City, and nobody touched the car. Maybe they thought it was a trick or something.

@Curiously Flamboyant Sheep: Lost Coast packs more atmosphere into a short level than most developers can pack into a whole game. Not my words, but oh so true.

I was only in the first beta because I won a haiku contest on Twitter. I'm also in Plus. I'll be really pissed if they give it to non-Plus people first (only because if they're going to have a pay service for a number of things, among them early beta access, they should do that)

The problem with this site is that most of it seems to be English insults put through Google Translate very hastily. One of the entries for French, intended to be a translation of "will u go out with me" was not only not a swear in either language, but the letter u was used for the same word in both entries.
