I was always so proud to share my birthday with Molly Ringwald!

How about including Oxygen in any lady fitness mag research? Some of its content is still problematic (read: obnoxiously strict), but I'd like to see the good/bad of a magazine that emphasizes strength and power vs. thin and pretty.

@SNEAKERS: What's this?! You're saying your two year old isn't dressing you?! Time to get Suri on the case!

@amy4683: Simple: In Tokyo, EVERYONE walks. All day - to get anywhere. Except on trains, where you typically stand.

Well, if you keep in mind that Hollywood is predominantly rich white male, of COURSE messy, clumsy, 'cute' and innocent would be the preferred and exaulted female attribute. It's less intimidating and less powerful, setting the situation up for the stable, sane, strong, etc. male to come in and 'save' the woman.

@Danbo: Typically I would be shocked, but I know someone just like that guy you described.

Seriously, only three noms in the Animated Film category? I'm pissed Tangled isn't on there, not to mention a few others.

@Zulkey: Ohhh yes that's an awesome image...

@Moretta: This is absolutely adorable. Your daughter sounds fab!

@BrilliantCorners: Some of my favorite shirts are maternity shirts and I'm not 1) preganant or 2) larger than average. So I say keep it!

@PrettyPrettyPrincess: I hate it when that happens, but I had the same experience with a few boyfriends. I can only advise based off of personal experience, but if it doesn't click, it doesn't click. Better to be honest with yourself and stick with being friends (if possible) than drag it along as something it's not

@hellosunshine: My thoughts exactly! Oh, missed opportunity! How I weep!!

Yeah, I'm not surprised by the Talbot's thing. They have the occasional cute piece if I'm feeling 'classic'. They've done a good job getting away from the matronly 'chic soccer mom' look, but my experience with them lately is that their quality has suffered. I have pants from them that the hems would fall out every
