Good to know that the Spanish for “hat trick” is “el hat trick”.

How about we don’t side with anyone because we don’t know anything about their lives?

I’m basing my support for them on the fact that he says they could have called him. Therein lies the hallmark of every narcissist father. If you’re the parent, you’re the one who picks up the phone, you’re the one who visits, you’re the one who is there.

I don’t like the passive aggressive approach. I’m a firm believer that confrontation is inevitable in human interaction. If the relationship was salvageable then the other person will understand.

My understanding is that this technique doesn’t work very well because it comes across as pompous. I say that because that is what I’ve been told during an argument while using that phrase. “My understanding is... you sound so pompous!”

But doesn’t it essentially occur in the books, just not to Sansa? Like, why is it somehow “better” that in the books it’s some secondary character and not a main one?

Oh lord. Just stop. You’ve been watching Game of Thrones for five years and this is the thing that does it for you? How’d you make it past the first episode? What did you even think this show was about?

Really? You’ve never heard this? Remember the whole hobbit ‘outing’? Or any other ‘outing’ of a celebrity? Dude, this is common knowledge. You can’t do that. Also, I’m kind of vexed that I have to explain myself to a cis person. That a bunch of cis ppl are gonna try and tell me whats offensive to queers. Me saying its

Thing is, they DO know it's not appropriate social behavior. You think they call their moms "cunt" when they don't respond to their texts in thirty minutes? That they call their bosses stuck-up bitches (or dicks) for not getting to their email quickly enough? No, of course not. They KNOW how to handle themselves in

They don't have to claim to have eggs, they just have to claim to be mayo.

You know, I think that the people who say, "why are you complaining about the rapes, when everyone gets brutalized in Game of Thrones," have a point. But so do you. However, pointing out that the threat of sexual violence is a real, everyday problem for women isn't really the best way to suggest that they shouldn't

This is one of the few instances where a man is allowed to hit a woman. White trash whores.

I have yet to read an article that explains why depicting graphic physical violence/maimings/murder is fine, but depicting sexual violence is not. Especially in the case of GoT, where the sexual violence has always been perpetrated by "villain" characters.

I don't usually like to pile on, but your posts are just embarrassing — to you and everyone else who served. I'm a vet too and I'm appalled at your overall tone. There is absolutely, positively, no way the police officer's actions in the video can be defended. You pretty much just crafted a "context" out of thin

I'm always impressed how animals can lose major parts of their body and/or major things like sight or hearing, and totally act like they didn't even notice and are still just super happy to be alive. Obviously not all animals bounce back so successfully, but I'm always touched by their complete live-in-the-moment

Chris Brown can still be a terrible person and an asshole, and a victim of sexual abuse.

Part of the other trouble, why men don't feel comfortable about coming forward? The double standard for female abusers. The girl who raped him immediately gets sympathy with "likely perpetuating something awful that had happened to her", and while that is likely true, compare that with any coverage of boys of that

Chris Brown can still be a terrible person and an asshole, and a victim of sexual abuse. One thing does not negate the other. Obviously his background influences who he is, but he is an adult man who knows the difference between right and wrong, and somehow making his beating the shit out of Rihanna as some left over
