Agreed. There’s a lot of droney ambient stuff on many second wave records, Filosofem in particular, so I’m not sure if or why that would be a point of contention among “purists”.

Not wild about the new layout. I don’t much care for the fact that the left 1/3 of the page is blank once you scroll down past links to sister sites I’m not interested in (what the hell is a Jalopnik?) and that you have to click to load new comments after every third comment.
